Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern access to and use of URemember.

By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, do not use URemember.

You must be at least 13 years old to create a URemember account.

If the law where you live requires parental or guardian authorization for a minor to use the service, you may use URemember only with that authorization.

You are responsible for:

• providing accurate account information;
• maintaining the security of your credentials and device;
• activity performed through your account;
• notifying support if you believe your account has been compromised.

URemember may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, investigate misuse or comply with legal obligations.

URemember is intended for lawful, personal use.

You must not:

• interfere with or disrupt the service;
• attempt unauthorized access;
• reverse engineer the service where prohibited by law;
• use the service to violate another person’s rights;
• upload, create or distribute unlawful content;
• circumvent purchase, access or security controls;
• use automated systems to abuse the service.

You retain ownership of the photos and other content you use with URemember.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to use and share any content you select.

Using the app does not transfer ownership of your photos to URemember.

Original photo files are not uploaded to URemember’s backend.

URemember requires photo-library permission for core photo-memory features.

You control photo access through iOS settings and may provide full or limited access.

Restricting or revoking access may prevent certain features from working.

URemember does not delete or alter original photos stored in Apple Photos.

URemember offers auto-renewable subscriptions through Apple’s App Store with weekly, monthly and yearly billing periods.

The exact subscription features, price and billing period are displayed in the app and through Apple before purchase. Prices may vary by country or App Store account.

Features, trial availability and subscription options may vary by country or App Store account.

Subscription access is based on the purchase and entitlement status that Apple makes available to URemember through StoreKit and RevenueCat.

Payment is charged to your Apple Account after purchase confirmation.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in accordance with Apple’s subscription rules and the purchase terms shown by Apple.

Apple manages billing, renewals, payment processing and applicable taxes for App Store purchases. URemember does not directly process credit- or debit-card payments.

You can manage or cancel an App Store subscription through your Apple Account or App Store subscription settings.

Deleting a URemember account or deleting the app does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription.

If you no longer want the subscription to renew, you must cancel it separately through Apple.

Cancellation generally takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless Apple states otherwise.

Restore Purchases is available within URemember for eligible App Store purchases associated with your Apple Account.

URemember cannot transfer App Store purchases between different Apple IDs.

Refund requests for App Store purchases are handled under Apple’s applicable refund processes and policies.

URemember does not independently control Apple’s refund decisions.

URemember’s application code, branding, visual design, written content and service elements are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms do not grant ownership of URemember’s intellectual property.

Users receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the app in accordance with these Terms and applicable App Store rules.

URemember may change, suspend or discontinue features where reasonably necessary.

Continuous, uninterrupted or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

The app may depend on Apple services, Supabase, internet connectivity, device storage, operating-system permissions and other third-party infrastructure.

URemember is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.

URemember is intended as a personal photo-memory tool and is not a guaranteed backup service.

Users should retain their original photos and appropriate backups through services they choose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, URemember and its publisher are not responsible for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from use of or inability to use the service.

This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited under applicable consumer law, or in cases involving fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited.

Users may delete their URemember account from Settings.

URemember may suspend or terminate access for serious misuse, security risks, legal requirements or material violations of these Terms.

Account deletion does not delete original photos from Apple Photos.

Account deletion removes the URemember account and associated account data as described in the Privacy Policy, but it does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription or stop Apple billing. You must cancel the subscription separately through Apple if you no longer want it to renew.

The app is distributed through Apple’s App Store.

Use of the app is also subject to applicable Apple Media Services terms and Apple’s standard end-user license agreement where applicable.

Apple is not responsible for URemember’s independent support obligations except as required under Apple’s own terms.

These Terms are governed by applicable law in France, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence.

These Terms may be updated when features, subscriptions, service providers or legal obligations change.

The updated version will be published with a revised “Last updated” date.

Where appropriate, material changes may be communicated through the app.
